New hotel web design for the Eldon Hotel got us the “face” we were looking for

In this case study we wanted to share with you the new web design for the hotel and the features we embedded to the website to give it the right look with better performance.

Demitry Graphicson has posted “Graphics on your Web Pages - Why Color is so Important?” in Web Design Library and we have used his tips on color shades to get the right color combination we were looking for. See the results:

In this web design we have used different shades of light brown with a dark brown frame that gave it the right web page for the Eldon Hotel considering its real shape and color.

Another important web design tool we have used is a table with pictures of some parts of the Eldon Hotel that were taken by a special photographer who was instructed by our hotel web designer in such away that they mach the rest of the colors on the web page. We have learned about this option from Pavel Lenshin who wrote a post called “Web-site Designing Pillars” also in the Web Design Library.
